Commercial Construction Project Executive

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Project Executive to help establish and lead a growing commercial construction division in Eastern Pennsylvania. This is an excellent opportunity for an entrepreneurial construction professional who enjoys managing projects, building relationships, and contributing to the growth of a business.

Our client is a rapidly growing commercial general contractor with an established presence in Pennsylvania. They are seeking a motivated leader to help expand operations throughout the Lehigh Valley market. The Position:

We are looking for a Commercial Construction Project Executive / Senior Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects, develop client relationships, manage subcontractors, and help drive the growth of a new regional division.

This is a unique opportunity for a construction professional who wants more than a traditional project management role. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to help establish and grow a regional operation, work directly with ownership, and play a key role in the long-term success of the division. For the right individual, this position offers significant leadership responsibility, performance-based incentives, and future ownership potential.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base Salary: $85,000 - $100,000 Based on Experience

Requirements:

  • 5+ Years of Commercial Construction Experience
  • Experience Managing Multiple Commercial Projects Simultaneously
  • Experience Managing Projects from Preconstruction Through Closeout
  • Strong Knowledge of Construction Scheduling, Budgeting, and Cost Control
  • Experience Managing Subcontractors, Vendors, and Suppliers
  • Knowledge of Contract Administration and Change Order Management
  • Ability to Work Independently with Minimal Oversight
  • Strong Leadership and Decision-Making Skills
  • Excellent Communication and Relationship-Building Abilities
  • Experience Working Directly with Owners, Architects, and Engineers
  • Business Development Mindset with the Ability to Build Long-Term Relationships
  • Strong Organizational Skills and Attention to Detail
  • Willingness to Travel Throughout the Lehigh Valley Region
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with Microsoft Project Preferred
  • Experience with Adobe Acrobat Preferred
  • Experience with STACK Estimating Software Preferred
  • Experience Utilizing AI Tools Such as ChatGPT and Claude Preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and Help Grow a New Regional Commercial Construction Division
  • Manage Approximately 5-7 Commercial Construction Projects Simultaneously
  • Oversee Projects from Planning and Preconstruction Through Final Closeout
  • Coordinate and Manage Subcontractors, Suppliers, Consultants, and Project Teams
  • Develop and Maintain Project Schedules, Budgets, and Documentation
  • Review Drawings, Specifications, Contracts, Estimates, and Project Requirements
  • Assist with Project Buyout, Procurement, and Estimating Activities
  • Manage Change Orders and Project Financial Performance
  • Conduct Regular Job Site Visits and Maintain a Strong Field Presence
  • Maintain Strong Relationships with Clients, Architects, Engineers, Subcontractors, and Suppliers
  • Ensure Projects Are Delivered Safely, On Time, Within Budget, and to Quality Standards
  • Promote OSHA Compliance and Job Site Safety Best Practices
  • Lead Project Meetings and Coordinate Communication Among Stakeholders
  • Identify Opportunities for Cost Savings and Value Engineering
  • Support Business Development and Market Expansion Efforts
  • Serve as the Local Representative of the Company Within the Region
  • Collaborate with Ownership on Operational and Strategic Growth Initiatives
  • Support the Company’s Goal of Generating and Managing $10 Million+ in Annual Revenue
  • Continuously Build and Strengthen Relationships That Lead to Repeat Business Opportunities
