Job Title: Structural Design Engineer
Location: Pelzer, SC
Job Summary:
Seeking a Structural Design Engineer with experience in data center or industrial infrastructure projects. The role involves designing structural systems for power modules, IT modules, and data centers, ensuring compliance with building codes and coordinating with cross-functional teams from concept through construction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design structural systems for data centers and modular infrastructure
  • Develop schematic, detailed, and construction drawings
  • Perform structural calculations (static, dynamic, foundation design)
  • Ensure compliance with local and international building codes
  • Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and architectural teams
  • Review submittals, material specifications, and fabrication processes
  • Support testing (FAT/SAT), inspections, and on-site issue resolution
  • Collaborate with vendors, customers, and fabrication teams

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Structural Engineering
  • 4+ years of structural/mechanical design experience
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
  • Strong knowledge of building codes and construction drawings
  • Good communication, problem-solving, and project coordination skills

Preferred:

  • PE License
  • Experience in data centers or modular construction
