    Job description

    Speech Language Pathologist- Full-Time
    Location: Lansing, MI, 48933

    Qualifications:
    • Master's degree with a major in Speech & Language Pathology (or related field).
    • Certificate of Clinical Competence or be in your Clinical Fellowship Year.
    • Speech-Language Pathologist Certification.
    • Commitment to Lansing School District's mission and vision.
    • 5+ years of experience working with children, their families, and their school support systems (preferred).
    • Experience working with a diverse population of students in an urban school setting (preferred).
    Responsibilities:
    • Conduct and attend IEP meetings, write IEPs as needed, and monitor their effectiveness.
    • Conduct REEDs to evaluate students.
    • Submit all required reports, data, and documentation in a timely manner.
    • Schedule and deliver speech and/or language instruction to a caseload of students.
    • Coordinate and provide consultative services to general education teachers, parents, and other special education staff in the areas of speech and language.
    • Perform other tasks as needed in order to best serve Lansing students.
