    Funko is a purveyor of pop culture and licensed-focused collectibles company. Funko currently holds thousands of licenses and the rights to create tens of thousands of characters – one of the largest portfolios in the pop culture and collectibles industry.  Funko’s Pop! Vinyl is the number one stylized vinyl collectible on the market, selling millions of figures to fans around the world.

    As the Manager of Creative Marketing Operations, you’ll be asked to binge-watch shows on Netflix, see the most recent Disney movie and keep up with all the latest trends in pop culture and coordinate content production around these trends! This role will focus on the daily operations and implementation of marketing projects and campaigns, ensuring creative and communications align across all of Funko’s marketing channels.  

    What You’ll Do

    • Responsible for understanding and building efficient project pipelines for all teams across the Creative Marketing Organization including external partners
    • Estimate, schedule, and track projects effectively, and resolve production issues.
    • Responsible for recruiting and hiring freelance resources for projects when needed.
    • Supervise the creation of all brand and promotional assets.  
    • Coordinate content planning and calendar and input creative needs across the business.  
    • Develop and execute a process to audit creative requests  
    • Meet with Retail, DTC, Fun Entertainment and B2B teams to create content briefs that align with the overall communication strategy  
    • Keeps all teams apprised of any product line-up updates that may impact creative
    • Work closely with teams to ensure a fully integrated approach to campaign and content development  
    • Manages a marketing operations team including licensor approvals team
    • Manage Asana project management system on behalf of the Creative Marketing Team 

    What You’ll Bring 

    • Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communications, PR or a related field, required
    • 6+ years of professional content marketing experience required
    • Experience with Asana required  
    • Knowledge and confidence to develop and communicate a point-of-view
    • Ability to identify potential risks and strategize around potential roadblocks
    • Strong communication skills; keeping in line with the voice and personality of Funko
    • Experience with content management and project management software
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating effective listening through concise, clear verbal and written communication.
    • Keen attention to detail in planning, organization and execution of tasks, while still seeing the big picture and understanding how all the pieces fit together and affect one another.
    • Demonstration of innovation and initiative - always looking at improving our processes while also displaying a willingness to dive into the details and help wherever necessary.
    • A successful candidate is comfortable with both ambiguity and a marked attention to detail. All aspects of this position require a clearheaded and accurate workflow.

    Salary Information

    The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $90,000 - $130,000 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
