    Pay: Starting at $49/hr
    About the Role
    We are seeking an experienced Construction Field Superintendent to lead and coordinate all on-site construction activities. This individual will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing subcontractors and field personnel, ensuring safety compliance, maintaining project schedules, and delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget. The Superintendent will serve as the primary liaison between field teams, project management, clients, and other project stakeholders.
    Key Responsibilities
    • Manage all day-to-day field operations and construction activities.
    • Supervise subcontractors, trade partners, and field personnel to ensure work complies with project plans, specifications, and quality standards.
    • Develop, monitor, and maintain project schedules while proactively identifying and mitigating delays.
    • Enforce OSHA regulations and company safety policies to maintain a safe work environment.
    • Conduct daily site inspections to monitor construction progress, workmanship, and compliance with project requirements.
    • Coordinate material deliveries, equipment utilization, and workforce allocation.
    • Review and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
    • Maintain accurate daily logs, progress reports, and project documentation.
    • Collaborate with Project Managers regarding budgets, schedules, change orders, and project milestones.
    • Resolve field issues, conflicts, and unforeseen challenges efficiently.
    • Ensure quality control procedures are followed throughout all phases of construction.
    • Communicate regularly with owners, architects, engineers, inspectors, and other stakeholders.
    • Manage punch-list completion and oversee project closeout activities.

    Required Qualifications
    • 5+ years of experience supervising construction projects in commercial, industrial, or related environments.
    • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, processes, and building codes.
    • Ability to read, interpret, and execute work based on blueprints, plans, and specifications.
    • OSHA 30 Certification or ability to obtain certification.
    • Proven leadership experience managing field teams, subcontractors, and multiple trades.
    • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
    • Proficiency with construction management and scheduling software such as Procore, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, or similar platforms.

    Preferred Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
    • Experience leading large-scale or complex construction projects.
    • First Aid and CPR Certification.
    • Experience managing multiple subcontractors across various project phases.

    Physical Requirements
    • Ability to work on active construction sites in varying weather conditions.
    • Ability to walk, stand, climb, bend, and navigate uneven terrain for extended periods.
    • Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds as needed.
    • Frequent mobility throughout construction sites and project areas.

    Work Environment
    • Primarily based on active construction job sites with occasional office-related responsibilities.
    • May require early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overtime to meet project schedules and deadlines.
    • Fast-paced environment requiring strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.
