Hospitality & Events Manager – Premier Law Firm

$115k-160k base salary DOE + Discretionary Bonus + Top-Tier Benefits


A phenomenal law firm seeking a high-visibility, hands-on Hospitality & Events Manager to lead their NYC office operations.

Prior management experience within a law firm is required to navigate the specific pace and expectations of this professional services environment. The company is consistently recognized for its workplace culture.


Location: Midtown, NYC —Onsite (5 days/week) Schedule: Monday – Friday

(Flexibility required to support early morning or late evening events as needed).


Key Responsibilities


Event Planning & Execution

  • End-to-End Management: Own all aspects of internal and external firm events—from initial stakeholder consultation and venue curation to catering logistics, setup, and post-event reconciliation.
  • Vendor & Budget Ownership: Build and maintain strong relationships with top-tier NYC caterers, rental providers, florists, and beverage partners. Manage event budgets, vendor estimates, and expense tracking.
  • Elevated Presentation: Bring a refined, sophisticated taste level to events, identifying opportunities for aesthetic enhancements and unique adjustments based on the nature of the gathering.


Conference Center & Lounge Management

  • Space Quality Control: Oversee daily meeting requests via the booking system. Ensure flawless conference room aesthetics, cleanliness, temperature control, and amenity setups.
  • Tech & IT Alignment: Partner closely with internal IT teams to confirm all multimedia and conferencing technology arrangements are functional ahead of scheduled meetings.
  • Lounge Oversight: Supervise the firm’s Lounge Manager to guarantee the corporate bar and hospitality areas are impeccably clean, stocked, and client-ready.


Team Leadership & Hospitality Operations

  • Staff Management: Directly manage, schedule, and train the firm’s Receptionists, ensuring high-quality, seamless front-desk coverage during firm hours.
  • Contracted Services: Direct and partner with the onsite contracted service team (Epiq Site Lead and staff) to ensure adequate resourcing for daily setups and hospitality needs.
  • Daily Flow: Brief reception staff on incoming high-profile guests, coordinate deliveries and vendor access with building security, and monitor snack/beverage inventories.


The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience: 5+ years of hospitality or high-end event planning management experience specifically within a law firm environment. * Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Mindset: Highly resourceful, creative, and detail-obsessed. You thrive in a client-facing capacity and are comfortable managing both high-level strategy and tactical, "roll-up-your-sleeves" logistics.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the poise to collaborate effectively with senior partners, corporate clients, and external vendors alike.
  • Technical Savvy: Comfort navigating conferencing equipment, modern booking software, and corporate office systems.
