    Job Purpose

    The Night Shift Maintenance Supervisor provides leadership for maintenance operations during the night shift, ensuring maintenance priorities are executed safely, efficiently, and to expected quality standards.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities
    • Lead night shift maintenance operations.
    • Execute maintenance priorities.
    • Coordinate emergency maintenance.
    • Lead technicians.
    • Ensure safety compliance.
    • Partner with Production.
    • Coach and develop employees.
    • Support TPM and continuous improvement.
    • Monitor work orders.
    • Communicate shift handoffs.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Supervisory Responsibilities: Provides direct leadership for night shift maintenance personnel.

    Qualifications

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions

    Required:

    • High school diploma or equivalent; five years of maintenance experience; strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills; demonstrated leadership experience; strong communication, organization, and decision-making skills.

    Preferred:

    • Associate degree or technical certification; prior maintenance supervisory experience; TPM, CMMS, Lean, PLC, automation, or robotics experience.
    General Job Requirements
    • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds/23 kilos on a daily continuous basis. Anything heavier will be done with the assistance of a mechanical device or with the assistance of another employee.
    • This position is exposed to harmful materials such as lead/fiberglass products. Periodic blood tests are required to measure the level of lead. Precautions are taken by the company/employee to reduce the risk of exposure and help ensure everyones safety.
