Pharmacy Technician: Must have Arizona state license 

and experience with Omnicell and hands-on experience in IV compounding and sterile medication preparation.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy operations in a healthcare setting. The Pharmacy Technician will work closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure medications are prepared, processed, and distributed accurately and efficiently while maintaining high standards of patient safety and regulatory compliance.
 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist pharmacists with the preparation, processing, and distribution of medications.
  • Accurately fill and label medication orders according to established procedures.
  • Review medication orders and prescriptions for completeness and accuracy before processing.
  • Enter and maintain patient and medication information in pharmacy systems.
  • Assist with medication inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and monitoring supplies.
  • Maintain accurate records of medications and pharmacy transactions.
  • Support medication dispensing and distribution activities while following established safety protocols.
  • Communicate professionally with pharmacists, healthcare providers, patients, and other members of the care team.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy work environment.
  • Follow all applicable pharmacy policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and report discrepancies, medication issues, or other concerns to the supervising pharmacist.
  • Perform additional pharmacy-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working as a Pharmacy Technician in a healthcare or pharmacy environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to medication safety.
  • Ability to accurately process medication orders and maintain confidential patient information.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Proficiency with pharmacy systems and standard computer applications.
  • Ability to follow established procedures and work collaboratively with pharmacists and healthcare staff.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with medication dispensing and pharmacy operations.
  • Familiarity with pharmacy information systems.
  • Knowledge of medication handling, inventory control, and documentation procedures.
  • Strong understanding of patient safety and quality standards.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy.

Pharmacy Technician: Must have Arizona state license and experience with Omnicell and hands-on experience in IV compounding and sterile medication preparation. BLS (AHA) ONLY And Arizona state License
