    Accounts Payable Clerk
    Store Support Center

    We are searching for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk for our StoreSupport Center located at 600 Citadel Drive, Commerce, CA, 90040.
    Position Summary:
    The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for ensuring invoices are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures. As an Accounts Payable Associate, you are an essential ingredient to Chedraui USA's continued growth and success. Your organization and attention to detail ensures that our vendors are paid in a timely manner and that our stores do not experience any delivery disruptions. SAP S/4 Hana - Fiori system knowledgeable.
    Onsite:
    This is an onsiteposition. Candidates must be able to report to the store support center fivedays a week.
    Job Duties & Responsibilities:
    • The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for the following:
    • Perform and understand all accounts payable functions and procurement: matching, batching, coding, entering, and posting.
    • Research & adjustments entries.
    • Execute reports as needed.
    • Communicate with vendors, buyers, and other departments.
    • Reconciling statements in excel.
    • Assist with sorting out mail when necessary.
    • Process invoices in SAP if necessary.
    • Finalize receivers daily in Retalix.
    • Provide internal and external audit assistance as required.
    • Accurately execute daily processes and controls in a timely manner while ensuring company policies are followed.
    • Troubleshoot vendor inquiries regarding unpaid invoices.
    • Execute additional tasks as needed.

    Secondary Duties & Responsibilities:
    • Comply with all company policies and procedures.
    • Maintain confidentiality of all data encountered in work environment.
    • Present favorable impression in dress and business attitude.
    • Other duties assigned by management.

    Education & Experience:
    • Associate's degree preferred.
    • Minimum of two years experience in accounts payable.
    • Knowledge of SAP S/4 Hana - Fiori invoice management system or similar accounting software.

    Skills:
    • Must be bilingual (English & Spanish).
    • Knowledge in the field of accounting.
    • Ability to type, and operate a personal computer, including strong skills in MS Word and Excel (VLOOKUP).
    • Basic math skills.
    • Knowledge of office practices and procedures.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Attention to detail.
    • Must be a team player and possess excellent customer service skills, including proper telephone etiquette.
    • Experience in retail (grocery) preferred but not required.
    • Ability to adhere to strict confidentiality rules for handling sensitive financial information.
    • Ability to work cohesively with fellow employees and management.
    • Ability to work in a team environment and on your own.
    • Ability to consistently meet all deadlines and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
