    Information Technology Field Technician (IT Field Technician)


    JOB SUMMARY:

    Under direct supervision, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware, computer peripherals and all other equipment as required to maintain our distribution center in operational condition and ensure 100% uptime. Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems, as necessary. Must be able to work in a multi-temperature distribution center.


    ONSITE:

    This is hourly/non-exempt position and does require the candidate to report to our distribution center located at 12430 4th Street, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730.


    ESESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Troubleshoot IT issues and provide support in a logistics and warehouse environment.
    • Responsible for support and maintenance of all IT devices in the warehouse environment.
    • Perform all IT infrastructure MAC (move/add/change) operations in the warehouse environment as needed.
    • Basic knowledge of networking, equipment maintenance and monitoring.
    • Can be called up to configure and maintain VoIP telephony
    • Create and maintain distribution systems to ensure 100% uptime.
    • Must be able to work on-site.


    JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

    Education:

     

    • AA degree or technical institute certification/degree, preferably in Information Technology or equivalent work experience.
    • Experience within Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems.
    • Proficient in Windows 10/11 installation, configuration and troubleshooting of operating system and hardware
    • Basic network printing configuration and troubleshooting
    • Experienced in Android OS installation and configuration
    • Skilled in Active Directory user and computer management
    • Troubleshoot Android scan guns and voice picking equipment in the warehouse area.
    • Expected to interact with IT suppliers, consultants, and contractors.
    • Competent in Microsoft Office application suite installation and troubleshooting.
    • Proficient in MS Office suite: Excel, Outlook and TEAMs.
    • Familiar with Zscaler and OKTA, desirable but not required.
    • TEAMs HUB conferencing system skills, desirable but not required.
    • Must be able to utilize ticketing system to initiate, track and manage all support issues
    • Highly organized and able to multitask, with strong operational skills.
    • English/Spanish Bilingual not required, but desirable
    • Professional and courteous demeanor.
    • Positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills.
    • Strong technical skills and troubleshooting techniques.
    • Ability to work a rotating schedule to support 24x7 operation including evenings, weekends and holidays.


    COMPENSATION:

    The salary range for this position is $22.00 to $28.00 per hour. The actual starting pay will be determined by a number of qualifications, including, experience and relevant skills.


    ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:

    This position has a desk in a distribution center office, but the position requires significant time supervising on the warehouse floor. The office is situated in a standard warehouse setting and is in a climate-controlled environment. Supervising on the warehouse floor requires work throughout various parts of the multi-temperature warehouse. 


    The warehouse is a multi-temperature warehouse environment where the temperatures vary considerably:

    • General indoor warehouse temperature is partially dependent upon the outdoor temperature.
    • Chill/Produce refrigerated coolers are maintained at 40-45 degrees.
    • Frozen refrigerated coolers are maintained between 0 and 25 degrees.
    • Some of the cold environments require special uniforms.
