From identifying and supporting a variety of corporate legal matters to negotiating the industry’s evolving legal landscape, our corporate counselors bring their own kind of invention to effect positive change across the company and their own careers.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Candidates must be willing to participate in at least one in-person interview.

The Legal Department requires a Privacy Program Manager to lead the day-to-day operations and governance of the enterprise privacy program at scale. This position addresses the challenge of unifying privacy standards across diverse lines of business and ensuring compliance with evolving federal and state privacy laws. By serving as a trusted advisor to IT, engineering, and business teams, the role mitigates organizational risk and translates complex regulatory requirements into actionable cross-functional processes. Additionally, the position drives program oversight through automated vendor tools, ad-tech audits, and privacy impact assessments to safeguard consumer data.

What Success Looks Like (Objectives):

  • Maintain, enhance, and govern the enterprise privacy program to meet compliance standards across all product offerings
  • Drive cross-functional compliance remediation work in partnership with Legal, Engineering, and external counsel
  • Oversee Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) and manage Consent Management Platforms (CMP) to ensure seamless tool integration
  • Track, report, and present key privacy program metrics, open risks, and remediation progress to Legal leadership
  • Integrate AI-driven privacy tools or automated workflows to optimize data subject access requests (DSARs) and audit processes
  • Direct the privacy audit process for ad-tech compliance while monitoring new regulatory trends to update program strategy
Skills, Experience and Requirements

Core Skills and Competencies (What you’ll bring):

  • Expertise in U.S. federal and state privacy laws with a proven ability to translate legal concepts into practical operations
  • Proficiency in Consent Management Platforms and privacy vendor tools like Ketch, OneTrust, or TrustArc
  • AI Literacy and Application in leveraging modern automation or technology solutions to streamline privacy governance
  • Strong project management and organizational capabilities to manage high-volume tasks and meet tight deadlines; cross-functional collaboration across Legal, IT, and business teams
  • Strategic problem-solving and analytical ability to conduct actionable privacy risk assessments and ad-tech audits
  • Critical Experience in leading privacy programs within technology-focused, consumer-facing environments and in-house legal departments

Additional Qualifications:

  • CIPM (Certified Information Privacy Manager) or equivalent IAPP certification

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with strong academic credentials
  • 6-8 years of professional experience in privacy compliance, data protection, or a related privacy program role
  • Must have hands-on experience with:
    • Consent Management Platforms (e.g., Ketch, OneTrust, TrustArc)
    • Conducting Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) and DSAR workflows
    • Ad-tech compliance and enterprise privacy auditing
