    About the Role

    As a Project Manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle, guiding projects from quotation and order placement through manufacturing, delivery, installation support, and project closeout.

    You will work closely with clients, sales representatives, lighting designers, contractors, engineers, and manufacturing teams to ensure projects are delivered accurately, on time, and to the highest standards.

    Success in this role requires exceptional organization, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

    What You'll Do

     

    Build Strong Client Relationships

    You'll become a trusted resource for customers, sales representatives, and project teams by:

    • Developing long-term professional relationships with clients, distributors, independent rep agencies, and internal teams.
    • Providing exceptional customer service throughout every phase of the project.
    • Helping customers identify solutions and navigate design challenges.
    • Managing project communications and ensuring stakeholders remain informed of project status and changes.
    • Collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams to align project requirements and client expectations.

    Drive Project Success

    You'll take ownership of project execution by:

    • Managing multiple custom lighting projects simultaneously.
    • Coordinating project details from quotation through final delivery.
    • Entering and maintaining accurate information in Made2Manage (M2M) and Odoo ERP systems.
    • Tracking project milestones, schedules, and deliverables.
    • Facilitating project meetings, preparing agendas, and driving action items.
    • Supporting installation and post-delivery questions to ensure a seamless customer experience.

    Ensure Accuracy and Accountability

    You'll be responsible for:

    • Maintaining accurate project documentation and sales orders.
    • Verifying all required engineering and production information is complete.
    • Communicating revisions, change orders, and project updates.
    • Coordinating with internal departments to support on-time delivery and successful project execution.
    • Monitoring project progress and resolving issues before they impact timelines or customer satisfaction.

    What We're Looking For

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, preferably involving high-end, custom, or technical projects.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
    • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience in architectural lighting, manufacturing, construction, electrical systems, or related industries.
    • Project Management Certification (PMP, CAPM, or similar).
    • Knowledge of ERP systems.
    • Familiarity with CAD and/or SolidWorks.
