Production Operator
Newark, DE (M-F 8am-4:30pm)
As a Production Operator, you will produce high-quality products through assembly of raw materials and semi-finished goods. Romer Labs is a leading global supplier of diagnostic solutions for mycotoxins, food allergens, pathogens, gluten, veterinary drug residues, melamine, GMOs, and enzymatic food analysis. The company's broad range of innovative diagnostic tests and professional services play a pivotal role in integrated food safety approaches.
This position supports our Romer Labs division, a global leader in innovative diagnostic solutions for food and feed safety. With a focus on mycotoxins, food allergens, GMOs, and microbial contaminants. Discover more at Romer Labs - Making the World's Food Safer
Your key responsibilities
  • Comply with internal and ISO standards by documenting activities
  • Comply with waste management regulations by documenting chemical usage
  • Ensure product quality by conducting in-process control of semi-finished goods
  • Track stock levels of raw materials and semi-finished goods
  • Produce semi-finished products and ensure product performance and qualitycriteria are met by calculating raw materials amounts

You bring
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Microsoft Office experience
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • SAP experience a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and effectively prioritize

The salary or hourly wage scale provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant's job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location. Hourly rate $23.00-$25.00.
In addition to base salary, we also offer a comprehensive total rewards package, inclusive of annual incentive pay, a retirement savings plan, health care coverage, paid time off, recognition programs and a broad range of other benefits. All benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements.
