    Job description

    DPR Construction is looking for Drywallers with 2+ years of experience in Raleigh-Durham, NC.


    We are looking for candidates with experience in commercial construction, such as:

    • Drywall Finishers.
    • Drywall Mechanics.
    • General Carpentry.


    Job Requirements:

    • Thorough knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in metal stud framing, drywall hanging and finishing.
    • Experience in all phases of metal framing and drywall hanging.
    • Finishing experience (Ability to finish with tools like Boxes and Bazookas is a plus)
    • Level 5 finishing experience.
    • Thorough operating knowledge of all drywall hand tools and power tools, including their uses, repair and maintenance.
    • Ability to communicate well with both management and crew.
    • Must have ability to perform task with minimal supervision.
    • Experience with Acoustical Ceiling (ACT) installation is a plus.
    • Experience with Layouts is a plus.


    Physical Requirements:

    • Climbing, standing, sitting, walking, reaching, bending, balancing, squatting and kneeling for prolonged periods of time.
    • Ability to lift/push/pull up to and not limited to 50 lbs.
    • Working Conditions: Work occurs primarily in on-site environment and may be indoors or outdoors. May involve working in heights, exposure to hot or cold weather, loud noises and more.
    • All PPE (Personnel Protective Equipment) must be worn at all times.
