Overview
The Maintenance Technician ensures overall machine and system efficiency through performance of best-practice Preventive Maintenance (PM), projects, programming, and repairs, with a focus on advanced technology equipment such as robotics and automated systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, programming, and repairs to minimize downtime on industrial production lines
- Install, modify and maintain mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated systems
- Respond to scheduled maintenance tasks and emergency repair situations
- Maintain accurate inventory and other documentation
- Communicate and collaborate effectively to support continuous improvement and drive overall plant performance
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting in an industrial environment
- Proficiency with welding, reading blueprints, wiring panels and PLCs
- Demonstrated reliability with strong attendance and work ethic
- Ability to safely lift up to 75 lbs and perform physically demanding work
- Capability to work in challenging industrial environments (heat, noise, heights, etc.)
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening
