Job description

Warehouse Material Handler
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Material Handler for a company based in Largo, FL. In this job, you will be responsible for performing an array of duties such as load and unload, move the orders off the wooden pallets or move wooden pallets directly to shipping are when necessary and other related duties. 

Pay Rate 
$16.00 per hour, depending on experience

Schedule and Hours 
1st shift: Monday to Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm 
2nd shift: Monday to Friday 3:30pm to 12:00am 

Warehouse Material Handler Duties and Responsibilities
  • Load and unload merchandise from trucks (by hand)
  • Inspect product quantities and colors of items brought for order verification.
  • Identifies orders on verified pallets and brings them to the Production Floor.
  • Maintains pallet flow of orders to production floor. 
  • Move wooden pallets to shipping areas using pallet jacks.
  • Use scanner device to properly set orders in the correct location systematically.
Warehouse Material Handler Qualifications and Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of recent warehouse experience
  • Able to work in fast-paced warehouse environment– high heat and cold temperatures.
  • Ability to operate an electric pallet jack and manual pallet jack
  • Able to lift 50lbs repetitively (lifting test will be provided)
