Summary:

The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for supporting warehouse operations through shipping, receiving, inventory management, storage, and order fulfillment activities. This role ensures accurate inventory control, timely material movement, and compliance with quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Pick, pack, sort, arrange, count, store, and process materials for storage and shipment according to customer and company requirements.
  • Receive incoming materials and finished goods, verifying quantity, quality, and accompanying documentation.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and support inventory control processes.
  • Perform shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment activities while ensuring high levels of accuracy.
  • Operate powered industrial trucks and other warehouse equipment safely.
  • Utilize ERP systems, Outlook, and shipping software to support daily operations.
  • Follow established procedures, training protocols, and quality standards.
  • Identify discrepancies and report inventory or shipment issues promptly.
  • Support warehouse organization and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Assist with cycle counts and inventory-related activities as needed.
  • Warehouse environment with exposure to room temperature, cold-room, and freezer-room conditions.
  • Continuous walking, standing, reaching, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
  • Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs., climbing, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
  • May handle packaged hazardous materials.
  • Moderate to high noise environment.
  • Flexibility to work varying schedules, shifts, overtime, and occasional local travel as needed.
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 0–2 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, shipping/receiving, inventory control, or related fields.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to navigate ERP systems, Outlook, and shipping software.
  • Ability to operate powered industrial trucks and warehouse equipment.
  • Proven ability to follow procedures, instructions, and schedules with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience in logistics or warehouse operations within a life sciences or manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with inventory control procedures and warehouse metrics.
  • Experience working in temperature-controlled environments.
