We design and develop electronic and electro-mechanical or systems-orientated products, conduct feasibility studies on engineering proposals and prepare installation, operation and maintenance specifications and instructions. We’re proud to deliver programs and products to the highest quality standards, on time and within budget.Join us as a Principal Systems Development Engineer on our Engineering Development team in Round Rock TX to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact.What you’ll achieveAs a Principal Systems Development Engineer, you will architect, design, and implement complex embedded system and platform-level solutions for Dell's enterprise products. Our team drives innovative, board-level, and SoC-level platform architectures. Delivering detailed designs and specifications that span system control hardware, firmware, and system embedded software, while enabling scalable design methodologies across product lines.You will:- Define and develop internal system control architectures including board-level interfaces, bus topologies, and hardware-firmware integration points across extended teams- Create design and architectural documentation for embedded platform features, defining innovative technologies for next-generation system-on-chip, board, and subsystem designs.- Design, develop, and implement efficient and scalable embedded design methods new features on next-generation platformsTake the first step towards your dream careerEvery Dell Technologies team member brings something unique to the table.
