Job description

Job Overview:

Requirement/Must Have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 0–3 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dark room environment.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand XX clearly.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures related to mechanical, chemical, and electrical operations.
  • Experience using electrical and/or mechanical equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, current and voltage meters, dial calipers, indicators, height gauges, micrometers, and microscopes.

Experience:

  • Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Experience with soldering and high-volume production preferred.
  • Soldering certification preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform testing of potted modules using electro-optical equipment.
  • Evaluate, disposition, and rework image intensifier tubes.
  • Maintain quality standards and production throughput.
  • Conduct specialized tests and rework procedures as directed by supervision.
  • Work effectively in a dark room testing environment.
  • Follow all applicable safety procedures and guidelines.

Should Have:

  • Ability to multi-task in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with Six Sigma problem-solving tools, 5S, and Lean methodologies.
  • Working knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical measuring equipment and quality control terminology.

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Quality control awareness.
  • Mechanical and electrical testing skills.
  • Multitasking ability.
  • Team collaboration and independent working capability.
