Job description

Position Description
As a Competitive Intelligence Professional, you will monitor, explore, and analyze assigned competitors, including their marketing, products, and business movements. You will have the opportunity to conduct in-depth analysis within the automotive industry on technology, manufacturers, and Reynolds and Reynolds' competitors.
Utilizing information uncovered and insights gained, you will create materials and be responsible for communicating information across other internal teams with the ultimate goal of supporting Reynolds and Reynolds, directly impacting its business development, client retention, and growth. You will have direct input on materials designed to help demonstrate the value of Reynolds' products and the solutions we provide to dealerships. You will be responsible for creating resources such as overview documents, presentations, pricing databases, competitive articles, podcasts, and more.
In addition to a strong focus on written work, you will confer with Sales and other teams across the company about the competitive landscape in both one-on-one interactions and group settings. You will communicate with members of the sales team when they are in unique selling situations to provide them with competitive information and positioning. Building strong rapport with internal and external clients is an integral part of your success in this role, along with both written skills and presentation abilities. This role allows you to experience and utilize many of the key skills it takes to be a successful market intelligence professional, including research, data analysis, creativity, content creation, and teaming.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Ability to take initiative; Strong attention to detail; Good organizational and analytical skills; Ability to build and maintain good rapport with clients
