Job description

Material Handler Day Shift

Cornerstone Building Brands is a leading manufacturer of exterior building products for residential and low-rise non-residential buildings in North America. Headquartered in Cary, N.C., we serve residential and commercial customers across the new construction and Repair & Remodel (R&R) markets. Our market-leading portfolio of products spans vinyl windows, vinyl siding, stone veneer, metal roofing, metal wall systems and metal accessories. Cornerstone Building Brands' broad, multi-channel distribution platform and expansive national footprint includes more than 18,800 team members at manufacturing, distribution and office locations throughout North America. Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour

Shift: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Complete work assignments and customer orders safely, accurately, timely and without damage. Assist co-workers and customers
  • Inspect materials, products, machinery, tools and equipment
  • Assist with inventory management activities including daily updates to the ERP system
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment
  • Assist in the movement of inventory within and among workstations and areas
  • Comply with all safety requirements and use applicable personal protective equipment

Qualifications

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • A combination of education and experience may be qualifying
  • Must be able to become certified to operate a forklift vehicle and overhead crane
