Position Overview

The Concentra Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated and passionate Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Saint Petersburg, Florida. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to work directly with patients and contribute to their healing journey through innovative rehabilitation techniques and personalized care plans. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy and at least 2 years of professional experience in the field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for patients referred by physicians.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions through a variety of modalities, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional training.
  • Continuously assess patient progress and adjust treatment methods as necessary to optimize outcomes.
  • Educate patients and their families about treatments, and provide training on exercises and functional techniques necessary for recovery.
  • Document patient care accurately and timely in compliance with health regulations and organizational standards.
  • Meet and exceed minimum utilization goals along with other business and quality assurance objectives.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population that includes orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases. Your work will involve treating individuals who are recovering from surgeries, injuries, or illnesses, each requiring a tailored approach to rehabilitation. You will play a crucial role in helping each patient navigate their unique recovery process, enhancing both their physical capabilities and overall well-being.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
  • Valid Physical Therapy license in the State of Florida.
  • Graduate of an APTA or CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program.
  • Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association or similar.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare providers.
  • Proficiency in word processing and electronic health record systems.
Preferred Experience

While a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience is required, candidates with a background in evidence-based rehabilitation techniques and familiarity with community outreach programs will be highly valued. Your ability to establish strong therapeutic relationships will be key in influencing patient adherence to treatment plans and achieving successful outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, with an annual salary between USD 100,000 and 110,000, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a robust compensation package, we offer comprehensive benefits, including:
