    Job Summary:
    Circle is one of the world’s leading internet financial platform companies, building the foundation of a more open, global economy through digital assets and payment applications. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will work closely with business partners to understand products and the payments ecosystem, enabling better decision-making with data.
    Responsibilities:
    • Partner with the payments team by translating the business needs to design and develop core tables, investigate product use, investigate how other payments products work onchain, and conduct research that will help us build the best products in class
    • Perform strategic analysis and research to identify new opportunities where business can be improved
    • Create data visualizations to translate analytic and data science results for broad understanding across the business
    • Build scalable automation solutions using SQL, dashboards, and other tools to create leverage for yourself and the payments team
    • Partner with leaders effectively employing clear and structured communication to tell a 'story' focused on business insights & data
    • Occasionally, share your results with larger audiences to educate them on the payments product and ecosystem
    Qualifications:
    Required:
    • 5+ years of experience in data science.
    • Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language, such as R or Python, for data manipulation, analysis, and model.
    • Strong understanding of statistics and experience applying statistical methods to understand business outcomes and customer behavior.
    • Proven experience in planning and driving analytical and data science projects.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
    • Strong communication skills to convey complex findings and insights to both technical and non-technical partners.
