    Cardiac Sonographer—Day Shift


    Location: Watertown, NY, 13601
    Duration: 13 weeks
    Shift: 8-Hour Day Shifts (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
    Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
    Weekly Pay Rate: $2,600 - $2,800; (Negotiable based on experience)

    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cardiac Sonographer for a 13-week contract assignment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic cardiac sonography procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac conditions.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform echocardiograms and other cardiac ultrasound procedures as prescribed by physicians.
    • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment with accuracy and efficiency.
    • Analyze and interpret cardiac ultrasound data for diagnostic purposes.
    • Ensure patient comfort and safety before, during, and after procedures.
    • Maintain detailed patient records and ensure accurate documentation.
    • Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide optimal patient care.
    • Maintain equipment cleanliness and report any malfunctions.
    • Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Graduate from an AMA-approved program in Radiologic Technology or Medical Sonography.
    • Minimum of 1 year of radiologic/imaging experience.
    • Specialized training and experience in Cardiac Sonography required.
    • Proficient knowledge of general anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
    • Proficient in the use of major medical sonography equipment, including software and hardware from leading manufacturers.
    • Current certification in Basic Life Support (BCLS).
    • Registered or registry-eligible with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).

    • Local pay rates will apply to candidates residing within a 60-mile radius of the facility.
