Job description

Industrial Carpenter | Pay Range: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour (DOE) | High Point, NC Area

About the Role
Play a vital role in our client’s manufacturing operations as a Wood Carpenter. You’ll be responsible for constructing large-scale frames and components for HVAC housing units. Your craftsmanship will directly support projects installed in high-profile buildings such as hospitals and universities.
Responsibilities
  • Install architectural doors, walls, and trim
  • Handle and prepare building materials
  • Read and interpret tape measurements and blueprints
  • Assemble and erect large-scale wooden frames (up to 30x30 ft)
  • Operate standard power tools (circular saws, drills, reciprocating saws, etc.)
  • Work safely and follow all company safety rules and policies
  • Collaborate with team members in a fast-paced production environment
  • Ensure all builds meet structural and quality standards
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1+ year experience in carpentry (construction experience preferred)
  • Ability to read a tape measure; blueprint reading is a plus
  • Skilled in use of power tools and measuring equipment
  • Ability to read and speak either English or Spanish
  • Strong verbal communication skills and teamwork mindset
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
  • Comfortable working in varying temperatures and noise levels (90+ decibels)
