Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Area Manager to oversee operational performance, workflow efficiency, team leadership, patient experience, and office growth across multiple dental office locations. This role is responsible for supporting office managers and teams, improving operational consistency, strengthening accountability, optimizing schedules, monitoring office performance, and helping offices achieve both patient care and business goals. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, solution-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment where leadership, communication, and operational execution are critical to success.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations across multiple dental office locations
  • Support office managers and teams with workflow implementation, accountability, and operational guidance
  • Monitor office performance, scheduling efficiency, patient flow, and office organization
  • Review operational KPIs including production, collections, schedule utilization, patient retention, and growth opportunities
  • Identify workflow gaps and implement operational improvements
  • Support hiring, onboarding, coaching, and team development
  • Conduct office visits, operational audits, and workflow reviews
  • Assist with patient experience escalations and operational problem-solving
  • Support implementation of company systems, policies, and operational standards
  • Collaborate with leadership teams to improve office efficiency, communication, and consistency
  • Support growth initiatives, marketing efforts, and community outreach opportunities
  • Maintain professionalism, accountability, and organization across assigned offices
  • Support multi-specialty office coordination including Pediatric Dentistry, Orthodontics, Oral Surgery, and General Dentistry when applicable

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leadership, problem-solving, team development, and building structure within a fast-paced healthcare environment. The Area Manager will play a direct role in improving office performance, supporting teams, strengthening patient experience, and helping offices operate efficiently across multiple locations.
Requirements
  • Previous multi-site management or healthcare operations experience preferred
  • Dental Organizations, Orthodontic, Pediatric, Oral surgery, or healthcare operations experience strongly preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple offices, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously
  • Experience with scheduling management, patient flow, and operational accountability
  • Ability to analyze office performance and identify workflow improvement opportunities
  • Professional conflict resolution and team leadership skills
  • Comfortable coaching and supporting office managers and administrative teams
  • Experience working with Denticon or similar dental practice management software preferred
  • Knowledge of insurance workflow, scheduling coordination, and front office operations preferred
  • Strong computer and reporting skills
  • Ability to travel between assigned office locations
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
  • Travel poistion
  • In person at assigned locations

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience managing operational KPIs, staffing coordination, and office performance
  • Experience supporting workflow implementation, operational growth initiatives, and team development
