Position Summary
The Cook I is an advanced-level culinary role responsible for executing fine dining dishes with precision, consistency, and attention to detail. This position plays a key role in delivering an elevated culinary experience that aligns with luxury and Forbes-level standards.
The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in fine dining cuisine, thrives in a high-performance kitchen, and takes pride in craftsmanship and presentation.
What You'll Do
  • Prepare and execute menu items to exacting standards, ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation
  • Operate independently on assigned stations, including sauté, grill, or garde manger
  • Maintain exceptional attention to detail in plating and portioning
  • Ensure all mise en place is prepared and organized for service
  • Follow and uphold all food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure seamless execution during service
  • Assist in mentoring junior cooks and supporting overall kitchen efficiency

Requirements

  • 3+ years of culinary experience, with a strong background in fine dining or luxury hospitality environments
  • Demonstrated understanding of advanced cooking techniques and kitchen operations
  • Ability to work independently and perform under pressure in a fast-paced, high-standard environment

Preferred Qualifications
