Driver & Merchandiser – Appalachian Premium Provisions

Cornelius, NC | Full-Time | $18–$20/hr | No Weekends

Appalachian Premium Provisions, a steadily growing family‑owned Boar’s Head distributor, is hiring a reliable Driver & Merchandiser to join our team. If you take pride in professionalism, enjoy early mornings, and thrive in a small, tight‑knit crew, this role is built for you.

Role Overview

You’ll start each day by pulling out of our Cornelius, NC warehouse, loading your route, and delivering premium Boar’s Head products to grocery stores across Western North Carolina. Once at store level, you’ll represent our brand with professionalism, accuracy, with pride.

Daily Responsibilities

  • 4 - 4:30am Start time
  • Load your truck each morning and depart on time
  • Drive a box truck (CDL not required) safely and confidently
  • Deliver to grocery stores across Western NC (Shelby, Statesville, Hickory, Boone, and surrounding areas)
  • Check in orders with store personnel
  • Stock, rotate, and merchandise products to Boar’s Head standards
  • Maintain a clean workspace in stores and inside your truck
  • Work collaboratively with a small team of 2–3
  • Log in‑store activities using a smartphone

What We’re Looking For

  • Clean driver’s license (CDL not required)
  • Comfortable driving a box truck
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional
  • Able to lift and rotate refrigerated products
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Smartphone required for route documentation
