  • Coordinate with DOTs, MPOs, and municipalities on permitting, approvals, and stakeholder engagement
  • Uphold QA/QC processes
  • Stay current on emerging technologies and best practices in traffic operations, safety, and intelligent transportation systems (ITS)
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including structural, highway, environmental, and structural engineers
  • Apply your technical expertise and support during project development, permitting, bidding, and construction phases

  • Conduct site inspections, prepare technical reports, and liaise with municipal agencies, contractors, and stakeholders
  • Act as a professional ambassador for BETA, cultivating and sustaining client relationships
  • Assist with proposal development and business development initiatives as needed
  • Mentor junior staff and support quality assurance/quality control efforts

Preferred location is BETA’s Lincoln office. Candidates should have flexibility to work from our other office locations. BETA also offers a hybrid work schedule, allowing employees to request working remotely up to 2 days per week.
