We are seeking aBattery Service Technicianto troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain industrial batteries, chargers, and related equipment at customer sites. What You'll Do
Diagnose and troubleshoot motive power batteries, chargers, and related equipment
Perform unscheduled repairs and scheduled preventative maintenance
Install batteries, chargers, and manufacturer-authorized modifications
Wash, clean, and neutralize industrial batteries onsite
Analyze equipment breakdowns and recommend corrective actions to customers
Complete work orders, service documentation, and repair narratives accurately and on time
Maintain service van inventory, cleanliness, and required vehicle maintenance
Safely handle hazardous materials including lead and sulfuric acid
Follow all company and customer safety procedures
Deliver professional, customer-focused service at every job site
What We're Looking For
High school diploma or GED required
1-3 years of experience in electrical theory, battery/charger repair, or similar technical environment (or vocational/college equivalent)
Experience with AC/DC power conversion, battery systems, and high-voltage applications
Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
Experience welding and soldering lead with an open-flame torch
Comfortable working around acids, alkalis, and industrial chemicals
Ability to operate drills, grinders, forklifts, hoists, cranes, and hand tools safely
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Valid driver's license with good driving record
Ability to perform arithmetic calculations involving fractions, decimals, and percentages
Work Environment
This position requires working at customer locations in industrial environments. Technicians may be exposed to:
Outdoor elements and temperature variations
Excessive noise
Lead, sulfuric acid, fumes, and hazardous materials
Hot or refrigerated areas
Occasional after-hours or weekend work may be required based on customer demand.

Regular kneeling, crouching, reaching overhead
