    How you'll make an impact in this role

    This position resides under The Resource Group, an end-to-end supply chain partner to healthcare organizations across the United States, wholly-owned by Ascension. At The Resource Group, we build strong relationships with provider teams, working alongside them to improve supply chain operations and lower non-payroll expenses, all in support of delivering quality patient care. Responsibilities for this role can be found below:

    Interpret complex financial trends, economic forecasts, and business data as they relate to performance metrics, providing actionable recommendations to leadership and consulting with stakeholders regarding contract impact and value realization.

    Manage the identification, documentation, and reporting of local supply and purchased services savings, collaborating with local teams to support national initiatives and achieve goals while assisting with project management and cross-market coordination.

    Develop and utilize support tools using advanced Excel and data visualization skills to implement, track, measure, and report on performance metrics for facility supply expense improvement initiatives and national data usage.

    Assist in the development, analysis, and evaluation of Requests for Proposals (RFPs), quotes, bids, and reverse auction contracting strategies, ensuring the strategic intent aligns with financial and operational goals.

    Assist in the development of internal controls and the validation of supply chain rebates, while also serving as a national point of escalation for issues concerning data feed and rebate collection.

    Manage contract management compliance for local requests and support national service conversions.

    What minimum qualifications you'll need

    Education:

    • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
    What additional requirements you'll need

    A Bachelor's degree

    1 year of professional experience and/or an internship

    Professional working proficiency of Google Workspace applications (Docs, Slides, Sheets, etc)
