    Job description

    Applied Technical Services, LLC, is a leading provider of critical testing, inspection, certification, and compliance services. The company serves clients across a diverse set of large and stable end markets including manufacturing, power generation, aerospace, medical, and defense. ATS was founded in 1967 and is headquartered in Marietta, GA. Today the Company employs nearly 2,100 team members in over 95 locations across the United States.

    Test Technicians at ATS Fort Wayne set up and conduct static strength and dynamic fatigue mechanical tests on various medical devices components and assemblies.

    Responsibilities:

    · Set up and conduct mechanical tests on various components and assemblies

    · Prepare and build test specimens and assemblies

    · Document and communicate test results to responsible test engineer

    · Monitor tests to ensure accurate and timely results

    · Perform routine maintenance and repair of lab and support equipment

    · 2+ years of hands-on experience in an R&D or Quality testing environment

    · Relevant postsecondary certificate, associate’s degree, or equivalent experience

    · Strong mechanical aptitude and hand tool proficiency

    · Strong computing skills

    · Servo-hydraulic load frame experience preferred

    · Hydraulic maintenance experience preferred

    · Medical device experience preferred.

    · Experience using MTS test control software preferred

    · Experience working within an ISO quality management system preferred
