Job description

Apogee has an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Radar Systems Engineer. This role supports radar, survivability, and EW capability development, test, sustainment, and modernization activities for advanced weapon systems within the Fighters & Advanced Aircraft community (Bombers Directorate and F-35 Program) directorate within AFLCMC.

This is a full-time position located on-site at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (AFB) in Dayton, Ohio.ย 

***Contingent Upon Contract Award***


โ€ข Provide expert radar and EW engineering support across system design, integration, test, and sustainment activities.
โ€ข Analyze radar and EW system performance, threat environments, and countermeasure effectiveness.
โ€ข Support requirements development, system specifications, and interface control documentation.
โ€ข Assist government leads with technical evaluations of contractor designs, test plans, and technical data.
โ€ข Support laboratory, ground, and flight test planning, execution, and analysis.
โ€ข Identify technical risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
โ€ข Support configuration management, deficiency resolution, and technical reviews.

Minimum Experience:

Citizenship: Must be a US citizenย 
Clearance:ย Must posses and maintain a Top Secret w/SCI eligibilityย 
Education: ABET-accredited Bachelorโ€™s degree in Engineering or related discipline
Years of Experience: Minimum 12 years of relevant DoD radar/EW engineering experience
Additional Experience:ย Demonstrated experience supporting acquisition and test programs
