Overview
The Programย Coachย ensures the successful delivery of high-quality programs by supporting AmeriCorps members, engaging partner sites, and driving program outcomes. This role fosters strong relationships withย sites, members, and internal teams toย maintainย program integrity, ensure compliance with AmeriCorps regulations, and achieve positiveย programย results.ย
ResponsibilitiesCohort & Member Managementย
- Provide regular support, feedback, and coaching to ensure a positive and productive service experience for a cohort of AmeriCorps members.ย
- Monitor member performance, service hours, and professional growth; address concerns promptly and professionally.ย Collaborate withย on-site supervisorย to manage member supervision, development, and performance.ย
- Plan,ย facilitate,ย and deliver member training sessions and onboarding activities.ย
- Facilitate and support career pathways in the sector, supporting members in their career pathways after their term of serviceย
Program & Site Implementationย
- Serve as the primary operational contact for assigned sitesย and site partners, building strong relationshipsย to ensure open, effective communication.ย ย
- Conduct regular site visits and check-ins to ensure smooth program implementation, address challenges, and foster engagement.ย A minimum of quarterly visits based on cohort size or supervisor/regional expectations.ย
- Partner withย content experts toย ensure program fidelity andย toย maximize outcomes.ย
- Track compliance requirements, including member hours, paperwork, and evaluations; approve timesheets andย provideย corrective guidance as needed.ย
- Support continuous improvement byย identifyingย opportunities for program growth, expansion, and process enhancements.ย
Recruitment & Community Engagementย
- Conduct AmeriCorps member interviews, document notes, and make selection decisions for assigned regions.ย
- Partner with Talent Acquisition and external organizations to strengthen recruitment pipelines.ย
- Representย Ampactย at community events, job fairs, and site visits to promote awareness and engagement with AmeriCorps programs.ย
- Support marketing and media opportunities to elevate program visibility under the guidance of the marketing team.ย
Minimum Educationย
- High school diploma/GEDย required.ย
- CPRS or equivalent state or national credential
Minimum Experienceย
- 3+ years of program management or implementation experience, ideally in a non-profit setting.ย
- Strong collaboration and partnership-building skills.ย
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving abilities; able to mediate conflict and exercise sound judgment.ย
- Skilled at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.ย
- Organized, goal-oriented, and deadline-driven.ย
- Professional communicator with strong listening, public speaking (preferred), and writing skills.ย
- Results-driven, adaptable, and solution-focused.ย
- High emotional intelligence and self-awareness.ย
- Proficient in MS Office and Excel; database and video conferencing experience preferred.ย
