We're looking for a compassionate and motivated Licensed Clinician to join our team in providing assessments, evaluations, treatment and documentation of clinical care provided to Guests.
As a Licensed Clinician in our Day Programs, you'll be a key player in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health needs. Through clinical assessments, behavioral interventions, and collaborative care, you'll help our Guests live their best lives.

Job Summary
As a Licensed Clinician in our Day Programs, you'll play a vital role in creating a safe, respectful, and empowering environment for our Guests. You'll write and implement structured behavioral plans and support individuals in building the skills they need to thrive-all while embracing American Training's award-winning culture of dignity, respect, and WOW! Magic.
Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for clinical documentation to include safety plans, behavioral plans, behavioral assessments, risk assessments, mental status exams
  • Provides assessment of Guests that may be in psychiatric crisis
  • Provide training to Colleagues on treatment plans, behavior plans, trauma informed care and topics related to mental health issues
  • Attend all required trainings and meetings including risk meetings, human rights meetings and interdisciplinary team meetings

Requirements
  • BCBA, LMHC or LICSW and a Master's Degree in mental health or related field
  • 3+ years of experience with mental health and developmental disabilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven knowledge of behavioral support techniques and planning
  • A collaborative, flexible, and solutions-driven mindset
  • Familiarity with DDS and Human Rights regulations
  • Valid driver's license, and satisfactory CORI and DDS background check.

Physical and Environmental Demands
  • Frequent walking, moderate standing and driving
  • Work environment frequently hectic, fast-paced with periods of high stress
  • Must be able to calmly and analytically respond to crisis and/or crisis situations
  • Must be able to appropriately intervene in medical, psychiatric and behavioral crises
