Job Description:
We are looking for a meticulous and organized Property and Casualty Insurance Processor to join our team. This role involves managing policy-related tasks, including underwriting support, policy issuance, and customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in the insurance industry, specifically in property and casualty, and demonstrate strong attention to detail and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Policy Administration: Manage the end-to-end process of policy issuance, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations.
  • Underwriting Support: Assist underwriters by preparing and reviewing documentation, gathering necessary information, and ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines.
  • Data Entry: Accurately input policy information into the insurance management system, ensuring all records are up-to-date and error-free.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional support to policyholders and agents, addressing inquiries, providing information about policy terms, and resolving issues promptly.
  • Documentation Management: Maintain organized records of all policy-related documents, ensuring easy retrieval and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Premium Calculation: Assist in calculating premiums based on underwriting guidelines and policy details.
  • Compliance: Ensure all processes and documentation comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Reporting: Generate and analyze reports related to policy issuance, renewals, and endorsements for management review.
  • Training and Development: Stay updated with industry trends and regulations and participate in ongoing training to improve knowledge and skills.
Qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in business, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in insurance processing, particularly in property and casualty, is highly desirable.
  • Skills:
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
    • Proficiency in insurance software and data management systems
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Work Environment:
