Job description

Our Client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion. The ideal candidate will have strong project management experience, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to manage schedules, budgets, quality, subcontractors, and client relationships.

Experience with Construction Management-at-Risk (CMAR) and Design-Build delivery methods is highly preferred.

Job Type: Full-Time

Compensation: $110,000 – $140,000 per year

Key Responsibilities

  • · Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through project completion.
  • · Oversee project schedules, budgets, quality control, costs, and overall performance.
  • · Manage multiple projects while ensuring timely and successful delivery.
  • · Participate in preconstruction planning and project development activities.
  • · Monitor project progress, identify risks and delays, and implement corrective actions.
  • · Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, consultants, and field teams.
  • · Lead project meetings with clients, stakeholders, and internal project teams.
  • · Develop and maintain strong relationships with owners, contractors, architects, engineers, and other project partners.
  • · Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documentation.
  • · Track project costs, change orders, schedules, and budget performance.
  • · Prepare project reports, updates, schedules, and other required documentation.
  • · Ensure compliance with quality, safety, contractual, and regulatory requirements.
  • · Provide leadership and guidance throughout the construction lifecycle

Minimum Requirements

  • · 5+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects.
  • · Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • · Strong knowledge of commercial construction processes, scheduling, budgeting, and project coordination.
  • · Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
  • · Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • · Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • · Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • · Experience working with subcontractors, vendors, clients, and project stakeholders
