The Opportunity

Adobe is seeking a hardworking and upbeat Legal Specialist to provide legal support for Adobe Legal's Antitrust team. This full-time position is based in San Jose, CA or San Francisco, CA. As a Legal Specialist, you are a driving force behind the success of our team. Get ready to build and improve processes, handle our matter management tools, and coordinate projects both within our team and across the organization.

What you'll Do

Under the supervision of our team members, you will:

Manage end-to-end support for complex antitrust matters, including regulatory and internal investigations, litigation and M&A, coordinating across Adobe legal, business, and technical teams and assisting in responding to antitrust third-party subpoenas and RFIs, merger regulatory filings, and regulatory investigation filings.

Develop and maintain matter management plans, timelines, budgets, repositories, and status dashboards for active matters.

Coordinate and serve as the primary liaison between outside counsel/economic consultants and Adobe internal participants, ensuring consistent communication, deliverable tracking, and cost management.

Coordinate scheduling of interviews, meetings, depositions, and other matter events and assist in preparing for those events.

Conduct structured investigative research and fact, including interviewing individuals, locating relevant information, reviewing documents and data, and analyzing and synthesizing this collected information.

Lead and manage e-discovery, including working with e-discovery platforms, the Adobe Litigation group and outside counsel on document collection, processing, search and review protocols and production.

Identify areas for improvements in various Antitrust Group processes and develop, implement, and streamline methodologies.

Develop and improve collaborative connections with cross-functional teams within Adobe Legal (including the Employment, Privacy, Litigation, and Product Legal teams).

What you need to succeed

Undergraduate degree required.

6-8 years of relevant experience as a legal professional, preferably working at a law firm or with an in-house legal team. Familiarity with antitrust law is a plus.

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to ensure accuracy and completeness of all project deliverables while managing competing priorities.

Be independently resourceful and with a strong problem-solving initiative while also enjoying working on a team.

A positive, can-do attitude.

Desire to learn and tackle new things.

Familiarity with document review tools such as Relativity.

Expected Pay Range:

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $94,600 -- $181,400 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process. In California, the pay range for this position is $125,300 - $181,400

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
