    We are seeking a rockstar Technical Accounting Manager to research andprovidetechnical accounting guidance across highly visible areas, including business combinations, software and AI content capitalization, segment reporting, equity investments, fixed assets, goodwill,new accounting standards, other significant transactions, and ad hoc project work. This person will alsoparticipatein preparing quarterly and annual external reporting documents and coordinate reporting timelines with management and external auditors. This role will report to the Director Technical Accounting & SEC Reporting, ESG Controller.

    Responsibilities

    • Act as a technical accounting resource for the company by researching,resolvingand documenting accounting issues that arise during the year;

    • Assess the impact of new and proposed accounting pronouncements and standards to ensure compliance with SEC and GAAP reporting requirements;

    • Partner cross-functionally with internal collaborators to ensure theaccurateaccounting for complex transactions and lead implementation of new accounting requirements;

    • Provide technical accountingassistancefor ad hoc projects, including coordinating project meetings and follow-up;

    • Manage and periodically update the accounting policies owned andmaintainedby the team;

    • Coordinate the annual Goodwill Impairment analysis;

    • Support preparationand review of relevant disclosures10Q's, 10K'sand,8K's

    • Review quarter-end statement of cash flows along with other quarter end accounting memos and analysis

    • Assistwith ad hoc projects.

    What you need to succeed

    • BA/BS or equivalent experience in Finance/Accounting; Active CPArequired;

    • 6+ years of meaningful experience including Big 4 public accounting firm experience (National Office or Technical Accounting Advisory a plus);

    • Overall understanding and experience in the application of US GAAP and SEC/financial reporting requirements;

    • Expert in researching accounting literature;

    • Strong analytical and problem resolution skills, including being able to research and simplify complex situations;

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

    • Meticulous attention to detail;

    • Proactive and passionate about working cross-functionally with teams including equity, payroll, tax, treasury,financeand corporate accounting;

    • Prioritize tasks to manage and meet critical deadlines;

    • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a desire to work autonomously with minimal direct supervision;

    • Approach work with an authentic intellectual curiosity and a commitment to continuous improvement;

    • Thrive in a multifaceted and collaborative team environment and mentor and coach junior staff;

    • SAP experiencea plus.

    Expected Pay Range:

    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $102,400 -- $190,800 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process. In California, the pay range for this position is $131,700 - $190,800

    At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

    In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
