    Job description

    Adobe is the leader in moving from traditional software delivery to cloud delivery. This role will be at the forefront of Adobe's cloud growth and how Adobe inspects cloud spend. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Finance FP&A team supporting Adobe's Cloud Operations Team. This role requires FP&A and analytical skills to administer a complex but highly strategic spend. You will work cross-functionally to bring the data points and story together.
    The successful candidate will engage cross-functionally across Finance, Cloud engineering to build analytical frameworks, introduce and deliver scalable reporting, and drive insights to various leadership teams.

    What you will do
    Product Finance Business Partnership & Modeling

    • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop bottoms-up financial models across revenue, cost of goods, and operating expenses.
    • Build and maintain dynamic models and scenario analyses to support strategic business decisions and investment trade-offs.
    • Support financial evaluation of new business opportunities and product initiatives.
    • Usage Analytics
      • Translate customer usage and consumption data into actionable financial metrics, including unit economics and cost analysis
      • Collaborate with Data and Analytics teams to ensure reliable data inputs feed financial models
      • Surface usage-based insights to inform pricing strategy, capacity planning, and go-to-market decisions

    Adobe Cloud COE (Center of Excellence) and Financial Cadences

    • Own and maintain seven-year cloud commit models across fiscal and contract periods, ensuring alignment with vendor agreements and internal FP&A team members
    • Drive quarterly refresh cycles, including commit analysis, scenario modeling, and executive-ready outputs
    • Support vendor cloud contract strategy and cloud vendor renegotiations
    • Partner with accounting and data teams to reduce manual dependencies and improve automation
    • Software & Data
      • Consolidate financial reporting and cost analysis across Cloud SW vendors, surfacing usage trends and actionable insights
      • Maintain data integrity across Cloud reporting tools, including Anaplan and Cloud Rigor, in alignment with FP&A team members
      • Act as the primary finance point of contact across Cloud Operations, Accounting, Treasury, and FP&A to ensure Cloud financials are accurately reflected in company-wide views
      • Proactively identify and resolve gaps in process, data, or methodology


    What you will need to succeed

    • Prior experience supporting a technology product, Engineering org, or SaaS/usage-based business strongly preferred
    • Expert-level financial modeling skills in Excel or Google Sheets; experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker) a plus
    • Ability to understand key business drivers, communicate financial implications, business impact, and recommendations efficiently.
    • Strong communication skills - able to present complex financial information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
    • Collaborative and comfortable working in a fluid and sometimes ambiguous environment.
    • High attention to details with excellent organizational skills and ability to take charge, set objectives, drive to results.
    • 8+ years of Finance or related experience.
    • Bachelor's degree in business, finance or STEM fields.
    • MBA preferred but not required.
    • Advanced Excel skills, Power BI, Anaplan, and Tableau are important. SFDC, SAP, or TM1 is a nice to have.
    • Creative, adaptive, and eager to learn new ways to accomplish complex projects.

    Expected Pay Range:

    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $102,300 -- $196,450 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process. In California, the pay range for this position is $135,700 - $196,450

    At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

    In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
