    Job Title: Event Support Associate (6 Openings)

    Industry: Operations / Event Support

    Location (City, State): Bronx, NY

    Assignment Type: Contract – 1 Day (Event-Based)

    Pay: $18-20/hour

    Work Schedule: 3:30pm – 8:00pm (may conclude earlier if setup is completed ahead of schedule)

    Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

    Our client is hosting a large-scale community event supporting 650+ attendees and is seeking reliable event staff to assist with on-site setup and coordination.

    Job Description

    Addison Group is hiring Event Support Associates to assist with event setup and logistics for a one-day assignment in the Bronx. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a team environment.

    This role will primarily focus on preparing event spaces and ensuring materials are properly organized before guests arrive.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist with setting up event spaces, including arranging tables and chairs
    • Organize signage, printed materials, and other event supplies
    • Support general room preparation and layout adjustments
    • Follow event lead instructions to ensure all areas are properly staged
    • Participate in a brief onsite team huddle to review assignments and expectations

    Qualifications

    • Ability to follow directions accurately and efficiently
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Clear and professional communication skills
    • Comfortable performing light physical tasks such as moving tables and chairs
    • Reliable and punctual
