    JOB FUNCTION / SUMMARY:
    Responsible for direct sales of new cash management business, expansion of existing business relationships, and the retention of a large and complex customer base. Typically handles the most significant corporate cash management activities.
    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Contacts prospective customers in order to develop new cash management business.
    • Meets periodically with existing customers to ensure proper servicing of accounts and to expand existing business relationships.
    • Prepares sales presentations, explains services offered, and recommends those services which would be of value to the customer.
    • Ensures that company officers are aware of cash management sales activities and assists officers in promoting the cash management sales program.
    • Assists in designing and ensuring proper installation of cash management services.
    • Assists department head in developing a marketing strategy and in setting sales objectives.
    • Assists management in developing new services or modifying existing services.
    • Calls on potential or existing customers and introduces customers to other departments when a service can be rendered.
    • Represents bank in civic, community, and industry activities as required.
    • Keeps abreast of industry trends and regulations; identifies changes affecting the department and takes appropriate action, notifies staff of internal operation changes.
    • May be responsible for maintaining staffing levels, training, evaluating, counseling and managing staff. May mentor less experienced staff.
    • May manage or assist manager with budget management including tracking expenses and reporting variances. Responsible for controlling operating and administrative expenses.
    • Performs all other duties and special projects as assigned.
    • Incumbent is required to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local banking and industry related laws and regulations including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
    None
    MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE:
    • College degree in Marketing, Finance, Management or Business Administration from an accredited university or equivalent work experience; Degree in Marketing or Finance preferred
    • 5 years of cash management sales and service experience
    • 5 years of business development experience
    • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) credential, or upon employment incumbent will work toward certification
    • Working knowledge of cash management sales, services and regulatory guidelines
    • Knowledge of bank products, services, and operations
    • Knowledge of finance and business principles
    • Understanding of regulatory guidelines
    • Working knowledge of cash management functions

    ESSENTIAL MENTAL & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
    • Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines
    • Ability to operate a keyboard if required to perform the essential job functions
    • Ability to read and interpret a document if required to perform the essential job functions
    • Ability to travel if required to perform the essential job functions
    • Ability to lift/move/carry approximately 20 pounds if required to perform the essential job functions. If the employee is unable to lift/move/carry this weight and can be accommodated without causing the department/division an "undue hardship" then the employee must be accommodated; hence omitting lifting/moving/carrying as a physical requirement.
