    Business Analyst Senior Manager

    Your role and responsibilities
    As a trusted and empowered member of the Electrification Business Insights team you will lead partnerships with ABB Business Areas and Divisions and develop a wide range of analytics, integration and migration solutions using various data engineering, analytics and visualization technologies for data driven insights as well as faster and efficient operations.

    The location is flexible within Europe, ideally in proximity to an ABB location.
    The work model for the role is: hybrid #LI-hybrid

    • Take ownership and lead business analytics projects in partnership with ABB Business Areas and Group Functions.
    • Understand and connect the dots between business objectives, systems and data to create meaningful analytics insights that drive value for ABB.
    • Develop processes for effective data migration, validation, analysis and reporting.
    • Establish and implement quality controls and standards to ensure reliable outcomes, alignment with business requirements and compliance with internal control frameworks.
    • Manage the infrastructure in coordination with global IT team to ensure the business analytics applications and servers are fully functional.
    • Adapt the current architecture to fast-changing requirements, to support business analytics projects and align to business objectives. This includes managing relationships with third-party data integration, cloud platform and application providers when needed.
    • Continuously monitor and assess developments and emerging trends in data integration, cloud data platforms, artificial intelligence and automation.
    • Pilot innovative analytics methods to drive new insights discovery and keep up with industry best practices, including opportunities to apply artificial intelligence, machine learning and generative AI to business processes and analytics use cases.

    Qualifications for the role
    • Proven experience (at least 10 years) as a senior analyst or analytics manager.
    • Strong SAP ECC and S4/HANA knowledge and ability to link business requirements into SAP data - structured or unstructured
    • Strong command over data engineering, analytics and visualization tools like Informatica, Talend, Qlik Data Integration, Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI, KNIME, Dataiku
    • Solid hands-on experience of administration and governance of cloud data platforms like Snowflake or Databricks
    • In-depth knowledge of SQL scripting with high efficiency and performance
    • Experience with CI/CD, Devops, cloud data architecture and platform integrations
    • Expert-level proficiency in building data flows and automations
    • Solid understanding of business processes in a manufacturing environment.
    • In-depth working knowledge of enterprise authentication, security and access-control concepts
    • Strong teamwork and critical thinking skills.
    • Proven Project Management and stakeholder management skills and ability to manage teams from different cultures
    • Managerial courage to confront difficult issues with the appropriate response
    • Strong oral and written communication skills, proficiency in English
