Job description

Qualifications:

Education- Bachelor's degree in engineering, biology, chemistry or pharmacy preferred with at least 3 years experience within an operations, quality or science/technology area.Preferred Experience and Skills: KM principles and methodologies: Has a thorough understanding of KM principles and first-hand experience in KM techniques desirable, such as professional networking / social media; taxonomies; expertise location; best practices transfer; lessons learned; and other common processes. Pharmaceutical Product and Process Knowledge (Biologics/Pharma): Understanding of pharmaceutical product lifecycle phases including typical types of product and process knowledge.COMPETENCIES Skilled in the operation of computers and job related software programs. Working knowledge of MS Office (particularly PowerPoint, Word and Excel), SharePoint. Understanding of unit operations, pharmaceutical development / scaleup and associated business processes (ex. Tech transfer, change control, deviation management, etc.)Demonstrated interpersonal skills. Fosters relationships within and outside the organization. Excellent communication (oral and written) and presentation skills Solid understanding of project management principles and great organizational skills. Self- starter; takes initiative when opportunities present to help the team Attentive to detail and able to meet project timelines Work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment Other duties as assigned Responsibilities: Understand knowledge management principles to highlight opportunities where knowledge capture, seeking, sharing and leveraging can add value to the enterprise, in alignment with business objectives, and makes recommendations to the business. Understands pharmaceutical business processes. Provides hands on support to knowledge management projects. Interacts favorably with the business to implement best practices and highlight opportunities that may surface back to the KM CoE. Supports change and communication plan. This may include writing and/or delivering articles, making videos, creating presentations. Supports the development or continuous improvement of KM capabilities and standards. Facilitates and drives the development of the additional KM capabilities, as required. Collects and analyzes data to support implementation and realization of KM projects (both installation and realization focused) in our operating areas (lab, shop floor, etc.) Serves as a certified practitioner for After Action Reviews. Collates lessons and data across After Action Reviews for business review and sponsorship. Ability to flex and flow to unanticipated business needs, successfully manage ambiguous projects, and take a hands-on role in any of the above to deliver desired outcomes.
