Sales Manager - Western United States Region (Utah, Arizona, Colorado, Nevada)

Capital Equipment Sales Manager for Western United States Region ( includes Utah, Arizona, Colorado, Nevada). Headquarters based in Louisville, KY

Responsibilities

As a Sales Manager at PHOENIX, you will play a critical role in expanding our market presence and driving revenue growth. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop New Business: Identify, qualify, and cultivate new customer opportunities through proactive outreach and market engagement.
  • Build & Lead Sales Networks: Recruit, train, and manage independent sales representatives to extend market reach.
  • Drive Equipment Sales: Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and bids that clearly demonstrate the value of PHOENIX solutions.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with operations, engineering, and service teams to ensure customer requirements are translated into successful product delivery.
  • Provide Market Insight: Share feedback on customer needs, emerging trends, and opportunities for product innovation.
  • Support Business Operations: Contribute to reporting, forecasting, and overall company initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (preferred)
  • Proficient with MS Office tools (Excel, Word, and Outlook) for reporting, forecasting, and correspondence.
  • Minimum 5+ years of sales experience, ideally in capital equipment or industrial markets
  • Strong understanding of industrial processes and equipment applications
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • High energy, resilience, and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on, results-driven mindset
  • Based in the Western US, with reliable local proximity to territory accounts and airport.
