About The Role:
We are seeking a Sales Associate to play a crucial role on the SpendHound team. As a Sales Associate, you will join the go-to-market team of this new division and assist in acquiring new clients. Your responsibilities will include qualifying and following up with inbound leads and marketing-qualified opportunities, and proactively generating leads through outbound activity. You are then responsible for managing a full sales cycle and closing those new business opportunities.
This role is part of a new start-up team, but with the resources of a larger company. As such, you will gain experience in an earlier-stage sales environment with frequent iteration and the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities outside the general scope of your work.

About The Role:

- Running a full sales cycle from initial outreach all the way to close
- Working on both inbound and outbound opportunities
- Selling to C-level executives
- Working in a startup environment, you'll be part of a small team going to market on a totally new product
You are likely to succeed if:
- You have 2+ years in a high-velocity sales environment (SaaS preferred), either as a top-performing SDR/BDR or Account Executive (At least 1 year of selling and 1 year of acquisition)
- You have strong interpersonal skills and enjoy spending a lot of time on phone and video calls
- You have strong email communication skills
- You're comfortable working in a dynamic environment where things can change quickly
- You're organized and can manage a large pipeline of opportunities

- Base Salary + Variable Compensation: The annual base salary range for this position is anticipated to be $70,000. This role is eligible for variable compensation, with on-target earnings (OTE) of up to $136,000. Final compensation may be determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and internal team benchmarks.
