Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome and seat guests in a warm and friendly manner
• Manage reservations and waitlists effectively
• Assist with private event program
• Train new host to George & Gather standards
• Monitor restaurant activity for optimal seating flow
• Perform opening and closing duties
• Provide guests with menus and inform them about daily specials
• Ensure cleanliness at the host station and surrounding areas
• Enthusiastically bid farewell to guests and invite them to return
• Assist servers and management as needed during service

Qualifications:

• Previous hosting experience is required
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Maintain a neat & professional appearance
• Ability to handle unsatisfactory guest experiences calmly
• Passion for delivering exceptional service to guests
