LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE/LPN JOB, NURSING DEPARTMENT, PRN, CRYSTAL LAKES, IL

We are hiring for a Licensed Practical Nurse/LPN job for our Nursing Department, PRN in Crystal Lakes, IL at our Fair Oaks Healthcare Center. This PRN position will cover shifts on an as needed basis and require a flexible schedule.

We are seeking Licensed Practical Nurse/LPN job to join our Nursing Department in Crystal Lakes that is a clinically competent, Licensed Practical Nurse /LPN who provides care to a group of patients/residents under general supervision/delegation of a registered nurse according to established policies, procedures, protocols and standards of practice and care.  Job requires Licensed Practical Nurse/LPN to effectively interact with patients/residents, families, responsible party, and all health team members. We are a 60-bed, 5-star rated Medicare-certified skilled nursing home. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, have organizational skills and be passionate about helping the community.

LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE/LPN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Data Collection
• Implementation
• Medication Administration
• Documentation
• Discharge Planning
• Coordination/Direction
• Monitors job performance of Nursing Assistants
• Completes all other job duties as assigned

LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE/LPN JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Current state license/licensure as a Practical Nurse, which must be in good standing
• CPR certified
• Must be literate and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Is required to analyze data, remember and recall multiple policies and procedures
• Must have organizational skills
• Must be able to demonstrate multiple priorities and the ability to direct and evaluate the activities of others
• Clinical or previous Licensed Practical Nurse /LPN preferred
• Must be able to meet Physical Demands for this job
