Position Overview

Board Lead / Business Data Systems Analysts serve as consultants to business units in planning and coordinating systems analysis, design and implementation projects / activities to automate processing or improve business systems through the use of Data Related Capabilities and Services. This is accomplished by leading the work activities on Product Boards. Gathers business needs as well as the design of solutions through direct interaction with business and technical unit leaders. Performs a liaison role between user areas to assist in the identification of process improvements, system design, testing and implementation of large and/or complex Data technical projects, often requiring coordination of multiple functional areas. Leads one to several Agile development Work Boards of cross- functional developers.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with business and technical clients to derive requirements and technical specifications from business needs and coordinate the technical solution, testing methodologies and timing of the solution delivery

  • Lead one to two Agile Work Boards.

  • Facilitate system development and design. Ex: software programming and table, report and panel design

  • Act a liaison for business and technical areas to communicate the business needs and develop testing processes to exercise the developed code.

  • Work with technical resources to ensure accurate translation of specifications into workable application code and data processes

  • Write detailed functional specifications of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify data capabilities and services

  • Perform vendor evaluations, especially RFI, RFP and quality function deployment (QFD)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor level degree in a technology related area, analytical or finance related (i.e. Engineering, Mathematical, Physics, Finance) or MBA

  • 5+ years of IT or business/industry-specific work experience. 3+ years of business data systems analysis experience plus solid experience in systems analysis, structured analysis, or methods and procedures

  • Outstanding organization skills and ability to communicate to various levels and roles throughout the organization in both written and oral formats

  • 3+ years' experience in process design and documentation methodologies, and design and production of quality deliverables, process and use case modeling (UML), business case development and testing methodologies

  • 4+ years' experience in using business productivity tools like Microsoft Office, Excel, Power Point, MS Project and Visio to communicate requirements.

Compensation

The estimated salary range for this role is $85,000.00 - $110,000.00, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate's qualifications, skills and experience.
