The Wellness Support Center is seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT) to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis in a remote setting. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough assessments of clients' mental health and relational dynamics through interactions with couples and families.
  • Facilitating therapy sessions for couples, addressing conflicts, communication issues, and emotional challenges while also offering individual counseling as needed.
  • Introducing evidence-based interventions to address specific concerns such as grief and loss, job stress, physical and psychological abuse, and conflicts among family members.
  • Implementing individualized treatment plans that focus on strengths and goals of both individuals and families.
  • Participating in regular case reviews and inter-disciplinary meetings to enhance treatment effectiveness and track client progress.
  • Staying current with best practices and therapeutic techniques through continual professional development opportunities.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will encompass working with a broad range of patients, including adults, children, and adolescents, providing therapy to address a variety of complex issues. You will specialize in:

  • Alcohol and substance abuse challenges.
  • Family conflicts, including sibling rivalry and parent-child issues.
  • Supporting blended families navigating the complexities of remarriage and integration.
  • Assisting clients with adjustment issues related to separation, divorce, and other life transitions.
  • Helping clients improve their communication skills and relationship dynamics.
Qualifications

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A valid and active LMFT license in the state of Florida.
  • A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related mental health field.
  • A strong commitment to patient care and a desire to improve mental health outcomes through collaboration.
Preferred Experience

While newly licensed professionals are encouraged to apply, successful candidates will ideally have:

  • Experience in telehealth or remote therapy delivery.
  • Prior work within a community health setting or similar environment.

Compensation and Benefits
